Shell Mold Shop

Shell molding shop is equipped with –

• Multiple dump box type machines for preparation of shells using resin coated sand
• Vertical core shooter machine for preparation of cores to be placed in the shell molds

Melting

• A dedicated furnace with a 500kg crucible for pouring of shell molds.
• PMI machine for effective screening of scrap before loading into furnace
• Multiple pyrometers to ensure right pouring temperature
• CCD based Spectrometer from BRUKER, Germany with capacity of analyzing 27 elements (including Nitrogen).

Fettling

A fettling shop equipped with

• Multiple plasma cutting machines
• Heavy-duty bench grinders
• Multiple swing grinders with two stations
• Multiple belt grinders with two stations each
• 100 ton Straightening press
• Multiple shot blasting machines
