4 channels (Fe, Ni, Cu, Co) with 27 elements.
Each heat is checked and chemistry ascertained before pouring.
MECHANICAL TESTING
Mechanical Testing is carried out on test bars poured for individual heats.
IMPACT TESTING
Based on customer needs, impact testing is carried out.
MICROSTRUCTURE ANALYSIS
Microstructure Analysis is carried out on samples drawn from heat treated specimens to determine the grain size and microstrucuture.
HARDNESS TESTING
A brinell hardness tester to check the hardness in BHN to ensure that the required hardness has been achieved post heat treatment.
PMI TESTING
PMI Testing of all castings is carried out based on client requirments.
DP TESTING
DP Testing is carried out to determine surface cracks as agreed with the client.
MPI TESTING
MPI Testing is carried out to determine surface cracks as agreed with the client.
RADIOGRAPHY ANALYSIS
Radiography Analysis is always carried out the first development samples to ensure solidity and the absence of any critical internal defects. In addition, this is carried out on a production batch if agreed upon with the client.
